On Tuesday, July 14 the Kinnelon Board of Education will vote to approve their Parents Bill of Rights.
This comprehensive proposal ensures that parents are informed of and empowered to:
- Access curriculum and instructional materials
- Review their child’s school records
- Opt out of surveys, lessons, or activities that conflict with their religious beliefs
- Be notified of any health or service-related changes affecting their child
This is a commonsense step toward restoring transparency, trust, and partnership between schools and families.
