Contact Edison School Board Members!
Two weeks ago, the Edison school board had their first reading and vote to repeal Policy #5756 – Transgender Student guidelines that kept parents in the dark about their child’s gender identity at school.
The second reading and final vote to repeal policy #5756 will happen at the next school board meeting on Tuesday, Oct 29 @ 5:30PM, Edison High School, 50 Boulevard of the Eagles, Edison, NJ 08817.
Edison’s parents need your help in encouraging these school board members to stay strong and firm in their position to repeal this dangerous policy that directs schools to keep a secret shadow medical file on a child that their parents cannot access. We believe parents need to be included in their child’s mental health, and social and emotional well-being, not excluded, as the Department of Education suggests in their guidance.
Edison is the fifth largest school district in the state. This could potentially be a tipping point for more school boards statewide to follow Edison’s lead. Nearly 30 school boards have already repealed this policy over the past two years!
Here is the problem:
Radical leftwing organizations have instructed their members across the state to descend upon the Edison school board with intimidating and harassing emails, social media postings in local online community groups, and organizing to attend the upcoming school board meeting on Oct 29. Some Edison school board members feel overwhelmed and frightened by the volume of hate emails and social media postings they have received from anti-parent activists who want to push parents out of the way for their own agenda.

You don’t have to live in Edison to encourage them to remain strong and vote to repeal Policy #5756.
