Bergen County Commissioner Amoroso bashes “evangelicals”
Last Friday, Representative Josh Gottheimer (NJ-D) clearly expressed, without hesitation, what he and probably many Democrats truly feel about people who want to save the lives of children and provide help for mothers struggling with their decision to keep their baby.

Standing in front of the Lighthouse Pregnancy Resource Center in Hackensack, Rep. Gottheimer (D) tore into your deeply held values to protect the sanctity of human life.
“Women go to these healthcare hoax clinics thinking they will get real medical help, but instead, they are greeted by people with no medical background whose goal is to brainwash women with their own ideological agenda. We need to do everything we can to shut down these brainwashing cult clinics. We need to stop the fake programming they’re pushing.”
Are you ready? Congressman Josh Gothheimer is considered a “moderate” in the Democrat party and therefore is the co-chair of the bipartisan “Problem Solver Caucus”!
If his derogatory words and bitter tone towards you is the “moderate” public position within the Democrat party, imagine what progressive hardliners say about you in closed door conversations.

Bergen County Commissioner, Democrat Mary Amoroso gives us a clue on their view of you, your church, and your faith.
“These centers masquerade as clinics and guidance centers providing unbiased information for women in crisis, but these centers are run by evangelicals who operate on the principle that women are just baby-making machines who fall for deceptive advertising and that fetal rights trump women’s rights every time.”
Shawn, the choice of words used in a formal press conference, by Rep. Gottheimer and County Commissioner Amoroso are intentional. They are a test case to see if this type of rhetoric is successful in shaming pro-life Christians in the national narrative in order to deflect public scrutiny over the extreme abortion policies voted for by state and national Democratic leaders.
We cannot let these words go unchallenged or they will be repeated in blue states across this country. I ask you to contact the offices of Rep. Josh Gottheimer and County Commissioner Mary Amoroso to demand they release a public apology and take responsibility for their damaging and demeaning words against “evangelicals” and pro-life supporters in general.
