Mail In Ballots being sent out this Saturday, Sept 19

If you’re like most people, you probably read the subject line of this email and assumed there’s no way I’m serious. But I am. New Jersey mails out Vote‑By‑Mail (VBM) ballots 45 days before Election Day — which means that by early next week, voters will already be checking boxes, signing their envelopes, and sending in their ballots long before the flood of digital ads, yard signs, and oversized postcards begins.

That’s why it’s so important to share the New Jersey online voter guide created by our friends at iVoterGuide.com. It’s a clear, easy‑to‑use resource that helps voters compare candidates on the issues that matter most to them, well before the noise of election season ramps up.

Please take a moment to pass it along to your friends, family, and church community. Early information leads to informed decisions.

Next week, we are excited to release an interview with U.S. Senate candidate Justin Murphy (R), produced by a coalition of parental‑rights organizations here in New Jersey. Both Senator Cory Booker (D) and Justin Murphy were invited to participate in this online conversation on parental rights. Senator Booker did not respond to the invitation.

Stay tuned next week to hear Justin’s perspective on this important issue.

Finally, as we look toward Election Day on November 3, one number should grab our attention: New Jersey’s voter turnout jumped from 41% in 2022 to 67.2% in 2024. In other words, 26% more voters participated in the presidential election than in the last midterm. Think about that. One quarter of active voters felt it was worth their time to vote for a President — someone who can sign or veto the laws Congress passes — but did not think it was worth their time to vote for the members of Congress who actually write those laws in the first place.

When turnout swings by more than twenty‑six percentage points between elections, it reminds us how many voices are missing when decisions that shape our families and our future are being made. If you believe, as we do, that informed citizens and strong families are essential to the health of our state, I invite you to partner with us. Your financial support equips parents, churches, and communities with the resources they need to engage thoughtfully and confidently. Please consider making a generous gift today so we can continue this vital work together.
