Join us at the NJ March for Life

Any clear‑minded Christian understands that the first responsibility of government is to protect human life. Yet in New Jersey, we have witnessed a tragic abandonment of this basic, God‑given duty by the progressive legislative majority in Trenton and by both the Murphy and Sherrill administrations. Their actions represent more than a failure to uphold human rights and the right to life. They reflect a systematic, layered effort to increase the number of abortions.
Here are several clear examples of how some state leaders have intentionally rejected their moral obligation to protect human life:
•Codifying abortion up to the moment of birth!
•Approving the late‑term abortion clinic Luminosas Wellness Collective that performs third‑trimester abortion procedures (and gender transitioning services for minors)!
•Targeting and harassing pregnancy resource centers by weaponizing state power against them!
•Intimidating pro‑life sidewalk counselors and prayer groups through aggressive enforcement actions!
•Allocating nearly $350 million in taxpayer funds to Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers in the past nine years!
Each of these actions reflects a deliberate policy direction that expands abortion access while undermining the very organizations and individuals committed to offering women compassionate, life‑affirming alternatives.
You have every right to feel disgusted by these developments, but please don’t become disheartened. Key Republican legislators are pushing back by sponsoring new legislation that could be aptly described as a “Reveal and Repeal” effort.
"Reveal"

Assemblywoman Dawn Fantasia (R) has introduced A5513, the Abortion Pill Provider Liability Education (APPLE) Act. According to the Office of Legislative Services bill statement, the bill requires anyone dispensing abortion‑inducing drugs to provide pregnant patients with information about possible side effects and complications. It also authorizes civil actions and criminal penalties for providers who fail to comply, and establishes the crime of coerced criminal abortion by means of fraud.
"Repeal"

Assemblyman Greg Myhre (R) has introduced A5559, which repeals the egregious so‑called “shield law” provisions that have been used as a sword to intimidate individuals exercising their free speech and religious expression rights near abortion and gender‑transition clinics.
We are grateful for Assemblywoman Fantasia and Assemblyman Myhre for championing these efforts. As members of the minority party, it is unlikely that these bills will receive a committee hearing or advance toward becoming law. However, their leadership puts pro‑abortion legislators on notice and ensures that the conversation continues in the Statehouse. Their work keeps these issues in the public eye and reinforces that there are lawmakers in Trenton committed to defending life and protecting the vulnerable.
I want to personally invite you to support pro life legislators by joining me and the pro‑life community for the NJ March for Life on Thursday, October 8 in Trenton. The pre-rally concert is at 10AM, the rally is at 11AM, and the march begins 12PM. Our friends at New Jersey Right to Life have partnered with the National March for Life to organize this historic day for our state.
