Things change. That’s a fact of life. Even people change by the grace of God. Change can be a very good thing. Therefore, it is with great anticipation that today I can share with you the team that will take the pro-family movement forward in our state.
Over the past three years, many of you have come to know us as Family Policy Alliance of New Jersey. Yet, for many more of you, our track record dates over 25 years from when I first formed the New Jersey Family Policy Council in 1995.
Our public policy organization will now be known as the New Jersey Family Policy Center. Our educational outreach organization is the New Jersey Family Foundation. These two dynamic organizations are led by our new Executive Director, Allan F. Wright! Shawn Hyland has rejoined our team as the Director of Advocacy, managing Government Affairs and Church Outreach. I will continue to serve as President Emeritus, helping to assist Allan and Shawn with decades of experience in the trenches of New Jersey state politics and policy initiatives.
Let me assure you of this, the one thing that has not changed is our vision to see New Jersey become a state where God is honored, religious freedom flourishes, families thrive, and life is cherished. Yes, we do have a long uphill climb, but this team is up to the challenge, we pray that you will continue to stand with us shoulder to shoulder.
We continue to work in alliance with 40 state-based pro-life, pro-family, policy organizations that serve as the family voice in their states year-round. We won’t settle for just winning an election or a vote on a bill. We want to change the tide of our state and for the entire nation through our national public policy campaigns such as Help Not Harm, Save Girls Sports, and After ROE and our Repeal, Replace and Restore effort right here in New Jersey!
With your increased support and funding, we are prepared to expand our work to more fully engage in the following issues:
Repeal – Sex Ed learning standards
Replace – transgender diversity lessons that start in elementary school
Restore – parental rights in education and life
We cannot wait to give you more details on the plan to accomplish this. Please join us at our upcoming yearly Guardian of the Family Gala on Wednesday, November 16 featuring a champion of Education Freedom, Betsy DeVos, and a champion of Religious Freedom, Coach Joe Kennedy.
