Part 2: Common Sense in D.C. might change everything

The President takes additional actions to protect parents and their children. What does this mean for New Jersey?

I believe after last week’s email update, my sheer enthusiasm coupled with my usual undiluted optimism was at its peak. All three branches of the federal government took decisive actions to protect women and children from harmful and dangerous gender ideology. But this week, my brimming outlook has soared to new heights. Why? Because President Trump continued to rattle the Far-Left ideologues with his commonsense Executive Orders.

Tuesday, Jan 28 – President Trump signs Executive Order, “Protecting Children from Chemical and Surgical Mutilation.” This EO seeks to strip all federal funding to any clinic or hospital that prescribes puberty blockers, cross sex hormones, or performs genital mutilating surgeries on minors who think they were born in the wrong body. These regrettable and irreversible procedures turn children experiencing confusion about their gender into scarred victims at the hands of radical gender ideology activists in New Jersey and across the nation.

Wednesday, Jan 29 – President Trump signs Executive Order, “Ending Radical Indoctrination in K-12 Schooling.” This EO seeks to strip all federal funding to schools that teach transgender ideology in the classroom. Yes, New Jersey schools are potentially “at risk” of losing federal funding because Governor Murphy and other Far Left radical legislators forced these lessons into public schools starting in kindergarten.

However, nothing will happen anytime soon. The fight is yet to come. Details still have to be worked out. Uncertain legal questions regarding the President’s lawful ability to restrict funding are in question. But one thing is for sure, this is the conflict the Far Left has been trying to avoid, because it will force them to make the argument, they know has no legal ground to stand on.

In their minds, a person’s “sense of gender” has more legal rights than a person’s “immutable biological sex.” The immediate problem for them is their inability to even define the word “gender.” Case closed – we win!

Our Attorney General Matt Platkin is a prime example of this. In the past week, he has joined other attorney generals from democrat-controlled states to file two separate federal suits against President Trump’s Executive Order relating to birthright citizenship and the freezing of federal grants. But his legal response to four separate Executive Orders relating to transgenderism is mute. He has said and done nothing.

America is in desperate need of a course correction on this issue, and it took President Trump in the most powerful office in the world to set America straight. For that, we are grateful, but we know the work is not yet done in states like New Jersey. We need your help in 2025!
