There is hope for New Jersey and for our nation. I am serious. Let me tell you why!
The Family Policy Alliance “SoConCon 2024” (social conservative conference) in Washington D.C. last week convened the 40 state family policy councils that we are in alliance with, and many other national and state organizations that strive together in rebuilding the family unit in our public policies and stopping the progressive moral agenda that wants to diminish the role of parents in a child’s life.
Our coalition partners and allied organizations know that everything hinges on restoring the natural family unit of fathers and mothers raising boys and girls in a two-parent household. The family is the first institution. If that is not conserved, then nothing will be conserved. It all starts with the family.
Together, we are winning across this nation!
• 24 states have passed Help Not Harm laws that prevent children from surgically and chemically disfiguring their bodies through so-called gender affirming procedures.
• 22 states have passed Save Girl Sports laws that protect female athletes from unfair competition and potential injury from competing against biological men who claim they are women.
• 19 states have passed Age Verification Requirements for Children to access adult websites just in the past 1 ½ years! Protecting kids from being exposed to pornographic material has been a bipartisan issue in all of these states. Thanks to the leadership of Assemblyman Jay Webber (R-Parsippany) I believe New Jersey will soon follow – more on that next week!

On Tuesday evening, we had time to hear from the policy thought leaders at The Heritage Foundation. On Wednesday, we heard from members of Congress at the Capitol Hill Club and toured the U.S Capitol building to view Speaker Mike Johnson preside over a voting session in the House Chamber.
